Carolina Febres, DDS.
Dr. Carolina Febres (also known as Maria Febres) obtained her doctorate in Dental Science from Central University of Venezuela in 1990. She completed her Pediatric Dentistry residency from University of Texas, School of Dentistry, in 1995. Dr. Febres has being practicing pediatric dentistry for the last 13 years in the Houston area. She obtained her board certification in 2005 and is a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Febres is also an active member of the American Orthodontic Society, American Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.Dr. Febres has lived in many different countries and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. She has three children and enjoys spending her free time with her family. Dr. Febres enjoys running, bicycling and swimming.
Claudia Harriehausen, DDS, MSD.
Born and raised in Colombia, Dr. Claudia Harriehausen moved to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2005 and moved to Washington D.C. to complete her dental training in 2010. During this time, Dr. Claudia received recognitions including Dean’s Honors List, Restorative Dentistry Honors Award, and the Achievement in Periodontics Award. After dental school, she completed a year-long Advanced Education in General Dentistry program before providing care in a pediatric-focused office for the next three years. During this time, she devoted her energy and compassion to understanding her patient’s needs and directed her clinical skills at improving children's oral health. Dr. Claudia then pursued an intensive pediatric dentistry residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She received a Master of Science in Dentistry for her innovative research exploring “Intake of Fluoride from Infant Formula.” As a candidate for board certification in pediatric dentistry, she is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Claudia has made Houston her new home along with her husband and two young boys, Matias and Noah. The family enjoys to travel together, play soccer, and discover Houston’s culinary scene. As an active mother, Dr. Claudia enjoys bringing a special focus to her pediatric dental care that centers on each child's well-being.
